However, we are strong believers that the best way to enjoy an Asian pears is just to peel them, slice them, and eat them raw!
Asian pears have a long culinary history in most traditional Asian cuisines.
Ground pears are commonly used as a healthy sweetener in vinegar- or soy sauce-based sauces and because they contain enzymes that tenderize meat, they are also often used in marinades.
Two classic and delicious Korean dishes that use Asian pears are Bulgogi (Korean Marinated Steak) and Galbi (Korean BBQ Short Rib).
